Police said a 70 year old man from Sioux Falls was driving the Jeep. The crash is being reconstructed, and possible charges will be determined later. Alcohol or drugs were not involved in the crash.

Interpreter Torben Loekaas, 40, a native of Norway, and Vik, riding a tandem bike, were riding with traffic northbound on Marion Road near Madison Avenue when they were struck from behind by a 2006 Jeep Liberty.
Harald Vik, a blind and deaf Norwegian who is revered in his home country and elsewhere as an inspiration to others with disabilities, was struck by a car in Sioux Falls mid morning while on a tandem bicycle.
