With their Adidas Los Angeles Rose Gold $25,000 prize, EscaZyme Biochemicals will help make the world more sanitary, smell better and have less annoying bugs. The company, winner of $25,000 for first place in the graduate category, uses a process newly discovered by UNR researchers to produce chemicals faster, cheaper and with higher purity. Those chemicals are used for industries such as pest control, scent making and antimicrobial products.
